Info: |
The Autavia 2446C GMT was driven by the Valjoux 724 movement, as was the super-rare pre-compression GMT with the narrower bezel. This example has a particularly lovely faded GMT bezel; often these bezels faded or ghosted so much that the colouring almost disappeared - 99% of those examples with pristine colours have replacement bezels - one like this, with faded yet still vibrant colours, is a very rare find. Perhaps even rarer is the Gay Frères bracelet which is being offered with this watch, the HLB GF is an almost impossible bracelet to buy - unless one is prepared to do irreparable damage to one's piggy bank! |
